Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

This UNCRC means that ALL children, EVERYWHERE, have the right to express their opinions and the right to take part in the decisions made about them.

The 30th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is a fantastic opportunity to put children’s rights HIGH UP on the international agenda.

We’ll be celebrating the anniversary on 20 November 2019 with the launch of our new report, Voices of Children & Young People: Child Helpline Data from 2017 and 2018. The report describes the contacts our child helpline members around the world have received over the course of two consecutive years. As such, it represents the voices of children and young people everywhere.

It’s time for the international community to renew commitments to protect and promote children’s rights, and to step up efforts to help children thrive. Let’s continue to make sure that EVERY child has a voice, and that NO child is EVER left unheard.
