| It takes less than 15 euros for a child helpline to help a child!
Child Helpline International relies on YOU to help children in need. With your support we can continue to reach out to around 14.5 million children every year through child helplines. Maori is a 10-year old girl from Asia. She lives in a nice house and goes to a good school in the neighbouring town. On the surface, Maori’s life seems happy but it is not. Why not? Maori is the victim of abuse. She dreads the dark because of the way her father treats her when they are alone. Her father is now becoming increasingly violent after turning to drink when he lost his job a month ago. Maori has nobody to turn to for help. One day Maori calls her local child helpline crying. The counsellors at the child helpline talk to Maori several times over the following two weeks. They refer her to their trusted counselling partner who meets with Maori and her family for long-term counselling. The child helpline continues to monitor her development for several months. Through continued support from the team at the child helpline, Maori is leading a happier life. She is doing well at school and wants to become a nurse. Her goal in life is to help others. Help the millions of other Maoris in the world to get their own happy ending. Donate now by clicking on the button opposite!
