Partnerships
Working together
We are proud to have the support of our partners and donors and realise that without this support all the work achieved over the last five years would not have been possible.  We are grateful to the many individuals, companies, organisations, trusts and foundations whose contributions make our work possible.

On the whole partnerships with CHI are geared towards enabling us to strengthen the quality of our work for the benefit of our child helpline members. These partnerships meet the financial, knowledge and human resources needs of CHI and stem from the private, public and non-profit sectors. Partners like the Dutch Ministry, the European Commission and the Oak Foundation finance our core activities. Partners like AGFUND contribute to the strengthening of specific projects. In addition we are very thankful to have the support of private sector partners like Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse Coopers who provide us with pro bono auditing and financial accounting services.

We recognise that nearly all innovation in Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) stems from the private sector. Their contribution to our mission can ensure that our members are able to offer quality services to children all over the world. For this reason CHI continually seeks strategic partnerships with the private sector. These partnerships can follow two approaches: an approach based on a mutually agreed upon portfolio, or strategic ‘twinnings’ where a company can donate key services based on one thematic area. Both approaches ensure a win-win situation.

A strong global network of child helplines is crucial for child protection. With your help, CHI can continue to advocate and support a more effective response to children in need of care and protection. Not only will their voices be heard, but you are helping improve the quality of children’s lives all over the world.
