The CHI Supervisory Board

Each of CHI's Supervisory Board members is a leader in either the corporate or child protection sectors. Of the twelve board members, five are child helpline managers. These Regional Representatives are selected by child helplines from their region to represent them in all matters.

This regional representation is a critical aspect of CHI's governance structure. With their invaluable input, the Regional Representatives provide a solid system of "checks and balances". Thus, the Secretariat is able to respond better to the development of programmes, services and products. Three of the Board members are recognised experts in their field, with the Supevisory Board Chair being social entrepeneur Jeroo Billimoria.
Four members of the Supervisory Board also form the Management Board of the CHI Secretariat. These members provide an essential between the strategy of the network and the work of the Secretariat.
