| The CHI network Many child helplines from all over the world are a member of the CHI network. Together we are the global movement of child helplines that works to protect children all over the world and have their voices heard. Currently, the CHI network counts 107 full members in 86 countries. CHI is working with organisations in a further 26 countries to launch a child helplines. More information on what a child helpline is and its services can be found here. For an overview of the membership of the CHI network, please go to the following page. The list provided on this page is not complete, as some members prefer not to have their information publicly available. Why kids call child helplines...
A girl disclosed that her mother had left her in a park as she could no longer financially support her. A custodian adopted her. In return she was required to beg, sell shoes and do all the household chores. If she earned too little she could be physically and verbally abused. The evidence was clear - she had pinch marks and cigarette burns.
